Biking Package for Killington Trails
Our lodge is the perfect place to rest and clean up after a day
of riding. The New Killington has not given us pricing to package,
however, you can still stay with us and pick up the Adventure/and or
Bike passes. Here's the info:

Guided tours and instruction are available as are supplies through
the Mountain Bike Rental and Repair shop of Killington. Visitors
will find everything from bike rentals, full service repairs and
accessories to clothing and maps. You must give us time to set up
reservation with guide. Rates and schedules to be determined.

Bicycle Tours

Hybrid bike rentals are available along with luggage
transportation. They also specialize in weekend and five-day
midweek inn-to-inn tours. Tours are arranged throughout Vermont,
including Lake St. Catherine and Middletown Springs.

Choose from several self-guided inn-to-inn packages or customize
your own trip. Small, naturalist-led group tours are also
available. We recommend that reservations be made well in
advance of your trip; the inns are small and can fill up
quickly.

Customized self-guided and guided mountain biking, combined with
lodging and meals. Tours available daily with special maps and

Types of Off-Road Terrain in VT
- Rails to Trails - Abandoned rail
lines are converted into usable public resources.
- Unpaved Roads- Found in rural
areas and are normally public roads.
- Forest Roads - Dirt and gravel
roads used as accesses to forest land. Usually open to the
public.
- Single track - Narrow trails
with only one track to follow, usually through the woods.
- Open Land - Unless there is a
marked trail through a field or meadow, this is normally private
land.
Bike Races and Events
- Granny Gears 24 Hours of Killington
- Beauty and The Beast Mountain
Bike Weekend, Killington. Part of the American Skiing Company's
Trail 66 Mountain Bike Series, it is the largest NORBA
sanctioned mountain bike race and festival in the East.
Scheduled for July, the event includes cross-country, dual

- Killington Triathlon, Killington
Base Lodge, Killington. Memorial Day weekend, 8am.
- Thunder and Lightning,
Killington. Normally held in August, it is the sixth stop on the
Nike ACG New England Mountain Bike Championship Series. Thunder
and Lightning is designed to accommodate both the avid racer and
the recreational cyclist looking to try mountain bike racing.

25, 50, 100 mile ride. Held in early August. Begins in Brandon.
